Welcome to Muslim SoulMates in Vanguard.  A unique platform for single Muslims who wish to find their potential marriage partners on this page. We have designed it to help you find perfect soul mates every Friday.

We will also give counsel where necessary in order to keep with the halal standard. Our aim is to further develop couples that could be blessed, compatible, enduring following Islamic injunctions. It promises to be a rewarding service just as we will treat all inquiries and submissions in confidence.

Ask Your Imam: Is Marriage to a Non-Muslim right?

Question: I am a Muslim woman who wants to marry a Christian man. We have agreed that the children we have (insha Allah) will be raised in a Muslim way. He pleaded I should allow him to be going to church while I continue as a Muslim, is this a right arrangement?

Answer: This is not right in Islam.  It is expected of you to give every consideration to Islamic tenets as it affects your life relationship with your partner.  Islam provides that Muslim lady must marry a Muslim man, and if it must be him, then he will have to become a Muslim before the marriage is consummated. But if he does not accept Islam, there is nothing Islamically about it. You need to spend sometime to convince him and more importantly pray over it without prejudice or mindset that it has to be him.
